Lunga Dweba is a retired military and United Nations staff officer with experience in local and international operations. He is the Director of Geopolitical Intelligence (Pty) Ltd, a corporate intelligence and investigative practice supporting public and private sector clients through Country Risk Assessment, Market Entry Intelligence, Compliance Intelligence, and Forensic Services.

His work focuses on supporting organisations to anticipate, minimise, and manage risks through corporate intelligence services. While much of his practice is centred on proactive risk identification and mitigation, he also supports clients in responding to incidents through investigative and forensic services.

His ongoing research interests include nuclear non-proliferation and international security. He is a recipient of two military decorations and two United Nations service medals.

With more than 11 years in software Quality Assurance and digital payments, Lesego Igwe is a specialist in card payment testing and compliance across banking and fintech.

As a Payments QA Specialist and founder of TestExcel, she helps fintechs and banks identify critical gaps in their card payment systems before they reach live environments.

Lesego has delivered QA across major financial institutions including FNB, BMW Financial Services, and PayFast, bringing technical depth to every stage of the payment delivery lifecycle.

Her work sits at the intersection of quality engineering and payment compliance, making her a relevant and practical voice for anyone building or scaling card payment products.

Kamogelo Khanye is an Information Management and fintech professional and a BCom Honours graduate from the University of Johannesburg, with experience spanning fintech operations, digital records management, compliance support, academia and youth development. He currently serves as Head of Support Services at L7 Prime, where he leads client support operations, oversees CRM and records systems, drives operational efficiency within a regulated fintech environment and manages client onboarding processes while ensuring proper KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance procedures are followed.

Beyond his professional role, Kamogelo has contributed to education and community development through lecturing, research support and leadership initiatives focused on youth empowerment. His growing interests include fintech compliance, digital transformation, information governance and regulatory operations, with a passion for knowledge sharing and bridging technology, governance and business strategy.

Patrick Le Roux is the Founder of Venture Labs, where he focuses on building and scaling digital trust infrastructure across emerging markets. His work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital identity, payments, and evidence-based systems, helping organizations develop secure, trusted frameworks for participation in the digital economy.

With extensive experience in technology innovation and venture development, Patrick has worked with businesses, startups, and industry stakeholders to design solutions that strengthen trust, improve transparency, and enable sustainable digital growth. His expertise spans identity verification, payment ecosystems, AI-driven technologies, and the governance mechanisms required to support trusted digital interactions.

At the summit, Patrick will share insights on “Architecting Trust Infrastructure: AI, Identity, Payments, and Evidence,” exploring how organizations can build resilient trust frameworks that support innovation while addressing the evolving challenges of the digital economy.

Jeremy Maggs is a journalist with over forty years’ experience in television, radio, and print. He currently presents Moneyweb@Midday, a fast-paced live online daily current affairs show as well as Hot Business on Hot 102.7. He also anchors Investec’s fortnightly podcast No Ordinary Wednesday.

Lincoln Mali is a seasoned business leader, speaker, and author with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (Southern Africa) at Lesaka Technologies, a Nasdaq- and JSE-listed fintech platform advancing financial inclusion across the region. After a distinguished twenty-year tenure at Standard Bank Group—holding various senior leadership roles—Lincoln joined Lesaka in 2021. Under his leadership, the company transformed from a loss-making entity into one of South Africa’s leading fintech players.

He is the Founding President of the Association of South African Payment Providers (ASAPP), a collaborative initiative formed by fifteen of the country’s largest non-bank payment providers to drive inclusive growth and strengthen the payments ecosystem. Lincoln is a recognised international speaker who has addressed local and international audiences and was elected Class Speaker at his Harvard Business School AMP Graduation in Boston, USA, in 2013. In 2014, Lincoln was also awarded the Distinguished Old Rhodian Award by his Alma Mater, Rhodes University for his leadership role on the African continent and his contribution to societal development. In 2022 Lincoln authored a best-selling book, Blazing a Trail: Lessons for African

Leadership. Proceeds from the book fund the Lincoln Mali Leadership Foundation, a

non-profit organisation dedicated to youth empowerment and leadership development initiatives across Africa.

In 2025, he was honoured as All Africa Business Leader of the Year at the 13th All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA), in recognition of his visionary leadership and the successful transformation of Lesaka Technologies. Lincoln is married to Sva and they have 3 children, Lihle, Amara and Liam.

Dr Mashilo Boloka is the CEO of Online Safety Lab (OS Lab), a South African company specialising in online trust and safety, including online risk assessment, content moderation, and strategic advisory services. He is a digital policy and regulatory expert with extensive public sector experience, having served in the Department of Communications & Digital Technologies for over 14 years in broadcasting policy and regulatory oversight roles.

He later became CEO of the Film and Publication Board (FPB), where he led its transformation into an online safety regulator aligned with the Films & Publications Amendment Act of 2019. During this time, he served on the board of INHOPE and as the first Deputy Chairperson of the Global Online Safety Regulators Network (GOSRN).

Dr Boloka was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of Marketplace Risk, becoming the first African to serve on the international trust and safety organisation. He also has over a decade of academic experience teaching media-related subjects and holds a PhD in Media Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His expertise includes corporate governance, organisational turnaround, and transformation.

Prudence Moilwa is an Executive Head of complaints and investigations at the National Consumer Commission (NCC), a position she has held since 2011.

Education, training and key achievements

Ms Moilwa holds a B. Jurs Degree and an LLB Degree from UNIBO/UNIWEST.

She has completed various senior management training programmes that include Accelerated Development Programme, and Executive Development Programme offered by the National School of government of SA in partnership with the university of Pretoria, that equip senior managers and executives in management competencies.

She has attended training at the Singapore Civil Service College on Strategic Human Resource Management

Attended and completed training on Being a Director Part 1- Part 5 from The Institute of Directors In South Africa

She has received extensive training as an investigator, mediator, communicator etc. 

Her career in consumer protection spans over 26 years.

Emmah Monyanga is a  Technical Specialist with almost 20 years of experience at the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS), one of the  Technical Infrastructure entities of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition of South Africa.

Emmah’s current responsibilities include maintaining technical regulations for numerous safety-critical products to protect public health, safety, and the environment, such as plastic carrier bags, building materials, chemical disinfectants, and personal protective equipment. She is a member of several Technical Committees of the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), responsible for developing and maintaining South African  National Standards (SANS) for these regulated products. Emmah is the current Chairperson of SABS/TC 1188/SC, Personal safety equipment – Personal flotation devices and swimming aids, at the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), and a member of several other Technical Committees. Her involvement in standardisation extends to  Technical Committees at the African Organization for Standardisation (ARSO) and the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO).

Emmah Monyanga’s career spans over 24 years in the public sector, focusing on Environmental Health, product safety, consumer protection, and Public Health. Her dedication to her field is further demonstrated by her academic achievements. She is a Golden Key Candidate with a Master of Commerce in Management Practice, specialising in International Trade Law and Policy, from the University of Cape Town (2014) and a Master of Public Health from the University of Johannesburg (2023).

Elizabeth Ogunseye is Co-founder of TheFintech Africa, a leading fintech ecosystem platform shaping policy, investment, and innovation across the continent. She is also Co-founder of Subify and Senior Product Marketing Manager at Sterling Bank Nigeria, where she leads strategy for digital banking and payment platforms serving millions across Nigeria, Kenya, and East Africa.

With 10+ years building regulated financial products, Elizabeth brings deep expertise in navigating African fintech risks and regulatory landscapes. Her experience spans innovative financial products at Zabira Technologies and scaling payment systems like Switch that operate at the intersection of innovation and regulatory complexity. She holds advanced degrees in E-Commerce and business, and serves as the first female President of ADMARP, leading 2,000+ digital marketing practitioners. Elizabeth is recognized for building resilient fintech products in high-stakes environments.

Christopher believes that a solid enterprise risk management capability within an entity, supported by a risk-mature Leadership, Executive Committee and Board, will lead to decisions that will effectively respond to both risks and opportunities facing the business world today and well into the future. He is a self-disciplined individual with a good understanding and experience of working with others as part of a team. He always has a strong commitment to seeing his work through sustained with a high sense of quality. His energy, experience, creativity and the ability to learn new things has got to be of his most valued strong points. He is a family man, which drives his key values of integrity, commitment and flexibility and this is inevitably displayed in the work place. Christopher Palm was the Chief Risk Advisor at the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) for seven years. His passion was (and still is) to collaborate with risk professionals and other key role players both locally and globally to transform risk management into a key component of excellent decision-making. Christopher spent 27 years with Eskom Holdings, of which the last 18 were at senior executive level – from Group Audit Manager and Head of Forensics to Head of Enterprise Risk where he established the integrated risk management capability in 2008. His most valuable experience throughout his time at Eskom was the gaining and understanding of world class risk and resilience knowledge, experience and exposure and how it is challenged in practice. Christopher’s educational background includes a B Com – majoring in Accounting, Commercial Law and Economics and an Honours Degree in Business Economics and Management Accounting. He complimented the above by completing the Executive Development Programme at Wits Business School. Christopher received the prestigious “IRMSA Risk Manager of the Year 2016” award – he emphasises that he has Eskom and a number of colleagues to thank for their part in this achievement!
